Really cool. I like the green tint, how'd you do it?

The before and after is amazing. They are so different. How'd you get the effect on the site though?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking about, how the image was edited, or how the before/after effect is done on my site. Here's the layers and channels from the .psd of Amy at the Canal. I made it quite a while back and wasn't thinking ahead that someone may see how it's set up, so it's not as tidy as I normally do things now.
and for the thing on my site, it's done in flash. it's pretty simple, I just came up with it one day, basically I used some very simple actionscript to tell it to make a mask follow your cursor around.
then I just set up the mask at whatever angle I want it and resize the stage to match the images height and width.
Oh, I see. I was actually asking about both the site, and the image.

You use so many layers, it's amazing.

Was the site really that simple? It looked pretty complicated, but I guess it could be pretty simple.

I try to do everything on separate layers, no matter how minute, and have moved on since I did this to using layer masks constantly and adjustment layers whenever possible. The reasoning behind using a new layer for every new part is so I can change that layers blending mode and only effect the stuff that's on it. also I tend to do a lot of layers where I just paint black or white or some color over something then adjust blending mode and opacity.

I'll upload a tutorial for the flash thing, it will be at this [link]
Alright, I'll keep checking for that Flash tutorial, thanks.

I know what you mean about the layers. It's so nice to be organized.
